3 Hours of Sleep

Today was exhausting.  I spoke with an old friend I haven't spoken to in a while and ended up getting to bed too late and with a trip to the airport the next morning, I woke up with 3 hours of sleep and I could barely make it without two cups of coffee.  I did make it home later that morning and took a well deserved nap.  It is so nice to have my two little ones home at last.

Keep trying to get a hold of my oldest who's so busy these days.  That kid is working full time and going to College and is busy being a young man living his youth!  Ah those days seem like so long ago for me but really they aren't.  Perhaps I can get all of us together soon for some weekend fun soon.  Looking forward to that day.

Last movie of the year!

During the times when my children off visiting their other families and I am left to myself to do whatever I feel like doing I usually will catch up on a few episodes of my favorite K-drama on Hulu or DramaFever or as was the case lastnight I went to the movies. 

I have been wanting to see the last in the Rocky series.  Yep you guessed it I went to see CREED!  Man it was such a good movie.  It really reminds me of the best parts of the 1st and 2nd movies of Rocky.  I love the underdog story as I feel like I can relate.  It was such an inspiring story and wrapped up a few loose ends in the previous movie.  It was a satisfying experience and I look forward to adding this one to the collection at home.  I did check reviews on it before I went to see it and almost all of the reviews were 4 or 5 stars good.  It had much better reviews than the Star Wars one that is out now too.  I also like Star Wars so eventually I'll get around to watching that one too but as I only see about 3 movies a year I'll probably catch it on the RedBox.

Good morning you Caffeine Warriors!

Good morning Caffeine afficionados.  This early in the morning I don't think anyone is reading this that doesn't have some kind of caffeine in hand.  Am I right?  What are your after the holiday plans for today for most of the celebrating world?  As for me, I am recovering from a couple of glasses of wine after spending the evening watching a good movie alone and reminiscing about the year and all that has transpired.  What a very interesting year for me and my family.  So much to process and at the end of the year what I most feel is grateful.  I am so grateful for my life, my children and the memories I've been blessed with.  Another year has come and gone and I am better for it.  I hope for all reading this today that you are filled with joy and hope and that this upcoming year will be filled with work that gives you a sense of fulfillment and many memories to build upon with family and friends.

As for me and mine, I wish for more of the same.  Memories and moments of regularity that can be counted among the commonplace and that those memories continue to build a wealth of happiness that becomes  a legacy to future generations.  Though my beautiful children are not with me at the end of this year as they are with their Father's for their winter break, I know that our time together will be very soon and our lives can go back to the happy pulse that is our normalcy.  It's only when we are separated that there is a black hole of sorts in my heart.  I cant wait for them to come home.  I have all sorts of fun times planned for this year for them.  Being the camera happy parent that I am I am positive there will be tons of pictures of tomfoolery uploaded to this blog soon enough.  Till then enjoy the posts and enjoy the family time with your own.

I maintain a Perfume Blog which will be linked along with my YouTube channel.  I have a goggle+ page with this same Blog Title but you will find that this is linked to a previous Google account which is simply more mobile and easier for me to post to.

Now if your still reading after all that well then please continue to read and I will make every effort to post here daily.  This Blog is going to be pretty varied with its content and interest but I really hope to garner your interest and support.
